It has been a good few days since i've written in this blog, but i have decided to talk about a topic that is somewhat relevant to my personal identity.
You might have seen me on github and with other platforms (also in depictions of myself) with these 3 arrows. In fact, the website itself uses these three arrows. You may be worried this is some sort of fascist symbol i keep in accordance to my brethren or some shit, but i believe i should clear this up before it causes any problems for me in the future.
When i took a break from modding, i came across the symbol for the Iron Front. If you don't know, the Iron Front is essentially an anti-nazi organisation formed in nazi germany, and its arrows are often drawn over the nazi swastika to show defiance. the arrows themselves mean anti-communism, anti-fascism, and i do not recall the third one.. the meanings have changed across multiple iterations of the symbol, but why have I chosen it?
I have always been a stubborn and defiant person, not usually visible but i heavily dislike taking instructions from people above me. Hence, I use the Iron Front's arrows to symbolise my defiance against most people who try to control me. It is that simple.
I didn't really think about why i was drawn to it at first but now i feel that was the reason. I draw those 3 arrows before anything i do anything that i deem institutional, like writing an exam.. yes, i actually do that. I don't know why really, it is probably my form of a "fuck-you" to the institution as a whole.
